National Radiology Reporting Framework - Health New Zealand

Built an analytical reporting framework for radiology services across the Waikato and Midland Region that was subsequently adopted as best practice across New Zealand. The goal wasn't just to deliver something - it was to build something that would actually be used.

Aged Care Demand Forecasting - DHB Shared Services

Led a national aged care forecasting publication comparing actual bed supply and demand against the ARC Demand Model across all New Zealand DHBs. With a 95% survey response rate across 651 facilities and forecast accuracy reaching 97–100%, the work gave health planners a reliable evidence base for long-term capacity decisions.

Healthcare Portfolio Management - Health New Zealand

Managed a $27.7M healthcare portfolio across Outsourced Radiology, Community Orthotics, Palliative Care, and Maternity and Sexual Health — bringing financial discipline and strategic coherence to a complex multi-provider environment.

ED Overflow Intelligence - Healthcare BI

Designed and built a Power BI dashboard for a multi-site hospital network tracking patient flow, triage levels, and Length of Stay breach rates across 12 facilities and 412,000+ patient records - giving network decision makers a single, real-time view across geographically distributed sites.

Technology Platform Transformation - Pub Charity

As sole-charge Project Manager, led end-to-end delivery of a critical infrastructure refresh to reduce operational risk across the organisation. Established RFQ criteria, ran the full tender process, and led the project team from business case through to deployment - achieving operational efficiencies and improved decision-making capability organisation-wide. Delivered in an Agile environment with high stakeholder visibility throughout.

My background spans three decades across government, healthcare, and the private sector — from sole-charge financial oversight of NZ$200M+ in international payments at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs & Trade, to national aged care forecasting, healthcare portfolio management, and consulting across New Zealand and Southeast Asia. What connects those contexts is a consistent focus on the same problem: bridging the gap between insight and action.

I'm based in Hamilton and work with clients across New Zealand and remotely.
